BEASN - 1 CUP

firstly, in a large bowl take 1 cup besan and ¼ cup rice flour

CUMIN - 1 TSP

add ¼ tsp turmeric, ½ tsp chilli powder, 2 tsp sesame, ¼ tsp ajwain and 1 tsp cumin

GINGER GARLIC PASTE

also add 1 tsp ginger garlic paste, 1 chilli, finely chopped, ½ tsp salt and 2 tsp oil

MIX WELL

mix well making sure all the spices are well combined

WATER - HALF CUP

now add ½ cup water and prepare the batter

SMOOTH THICK PASTE

adding water as required make a smooth thick paste. keep aside

BESAN BATTER

take big sized palak leaves and spread besan batter.

PALAK LEAF

repeat the leaves and besan batter forming at least 3 layers

ROLL TIGHT

now roll tight making sure all the layers are intact

BESAN BATTER

further, spread a little besan batter over the roll

STEAM 15 MINUTES

place in steamer and steam for 15 minutes on medium flame.

COOL COMPLETELY

cool down the rolls. you can serve the palak vadi without frying. however, tastes great when fried

PAN FRY 

now heat 2 tbsp oil on the pan and place the steamed palak rolls

FRY - MEDIUM FLAME

roast on medium flame turning all the sides

CRISPY PALAK ROLL

flip over and fry until the rolls turn golden and crisp. now sprinkle 1 tsp sesame seeds and is ready to serve
