Badam Peda Recipe | Instant Almond Milk Powder Malai Peda with step-by-step photo and video recipe. Peda or barfi recipe is a common Indian sweet recipe made for various reasons including celebrations and festivals. Many different types of sweets are purpose-based and only prepared during certain seasons. However, some sweets like badam peda do not belong to any season and can be ideal for all occasions.

To be honest, I am not a huge fan of sweets and dessert recipes and I like to have savory snacks or myriad breakfast ranges. However, there are certain sweets that I really like and do not just end with 1 or 2 sweets. Badam Peda or almond fudge peda is one of them. The main reason is the almond powder itself. Particularly, when mixed with milk powder, the result is so satisfying not just with taste, but also with texture. In addition, these badam sweets are super-liked by kids. I make these in bulk and I serve it for my daughter’s tiffin box. She loves it and it can be an ideal replacement for any store-bought chocolates or even flavored yogurt.

Furthermore, some more related and additional tips, suggestions, and variations to the badam peda recipe. Firstly, the recipe I have shown uses milk powder and almond powder. Combining these 2 makes the peda instant and quick sweet. However, you may also use khoya and mawa for the same purpose. Secondly, the shape of peda is typically round or oval in shape. However, shape does not matter and it can be shaped to any desired shape using any cookie cutters. Lastly, the topping of this peda can be decorated with any desired nuts or dry fruits. Badam nut makes it special, but not limited to it.
