I make these in bulk and I serve it for my daughter’s tiffin box. She loves it and it can be an ideal replacement for any store-bought chocolates or even flavored yogurt.

Badam Peda Recipe | Instant Almond Milk Powder Malai Peda
Ingredients
- ¾ cup badam / almonds
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup sugar
- 2 cup milk powder
- 2 tbsp kesar milk
- 1 tsp ghee
- ½ tsp cardamom powder
- badam, for garnishing
Instructions
- Firstly, in a mixer jar take 1 cup badam and grind to a fine powder. Keep aside.
- In a kadai take ¾ cup milk, ½ cup sugar, 2 cup milk powder and mix well.
- Mix until everything is well combined, keeping the flame on low.
- Add 2 tbsp kesar milk and continue to cook on low flame.
- The mixture starts to thicken and forms a dough consistency.
- Add 1 tsp ghee, and ½ tsp cardamom powder and mix well.
- Continue to cook until the mixture starts to separate the pan and turns non-sticky.
- Transfer the mixture to a butterpaper and knead slightly, to form a soft dough.
- Now take a ball-sized dough and shape to square or of your choice.
- Garnish with badam and is ready to serve.
