Corn Cutlet Recipe | Corn Kabab Recipe | Crispy Corn Kebab Recipe with step-by-step photo and video recipe. Like any other vegetable kebab recipe or cutlet recipe, grated potatoes play a major role in this recipe. However, corn kernels add a nice flavor and taste to this kebab recipe. Moreover, the kebabs in this recipe are deep fried very similar to cutlets and not grilled like any other traditional kebab recipe.
I have already posted a simple veg cutlet recipe which is prepared from boiled potatoes and other mixed vegetables. Whereas in this corn cutlet recipe, I have followed the same procedure and binding agent. However, sweet corn kernels play a major role in boiled mashed potatoes in this recipe. Also after the potatoes are boiled, I keep them dry so that the cutlet dough remains moistureless and becomes easier to shape it and deep fry. So if you find your cutlets getting dissolved while deep frying, then it could be because of moisture within them. Adding breadcrumbs helps to make it further dry and eventually helps to shape and crispy.
Furthermore, some important tips and suggestions to make this a perfect and crispy corn kebab recipe. Firstly, I have used corn flour and breadcrumbs as the binding agent for all the vegetables in this corn cutlet recipe. Alternatively, rice flour can also be used which makes this kabab even more crispy. Secondly, the shapes of the kabab are open-ended and can be given any shape as per the choice. It can also be rolled to stick like seek kabab and then deep fried or even cylindrical shapes. Lastly, the kababs should always be deep-fried in low to medium heat. Do not deep fry them in high heat, otherwise, the kabab may break in the oil.

About Corn Cutlet
It is an easy and simple healthy patties or cutlet recipe made with crushed sweet corn kernels with other supporting vegetables. In other words, corn cutlet or sweet corn kebab is known for its combination of tastes, especially the sweetness of corn and the spiciness of the added spice mix. It is a popular choice as an evening snack with a cup of tea, but can also be a popular choice as a party starter or as an appetizer.
There are many different types of corn cutlet or corn kebab recipes but the most common way is prepared like a patties. Basically, corn mixture is mixed with other vegetables shaped like a circular disc and deep fried till crisp. The shaping does not matter much and more importantly does not affect the taste of the cutlet. The other most common way is to make it with just sweet corn. But this can be tricky to shape and also may soak more oil while deep frying.
