Jowar Chilla Recipe | Healthy And Tasty Jowar Pudla with step-by-step photo and video recipe. Chilla recipes are ideal morning breakfast recipes. They are mainly prepared with besan flour, which is delicious but may not be suitable for the gut. An alternative way is to use healthy flours, and sorghum flour is one such flour.
I make tomato omelette or millet-based roti recipes for breakfast and dinner. These are simple and healthy for my digestive system. But I was recently introduced to millet-based chilla recipes and awestruck by their simplicity. Typically, any breakfast recipe takes 30-40 minutes to prepare. But this recipe only takes about 10 minutes from start to finish. In addition, there is always a stigma that instant and easy recipes are unhealthy and not nutritious. But this chilla is quite the opposite and has a lot of health benefits. Do try this chilla if you have not tried it till now, and I am certain you and your family would love it.
Furthermore, some more related and additional tips, suggestions and variants to the jowar chilla recipe. Firstly, I have used basic vegetables with sorghum flour to make an interesting mixed vegetable sorghum chilla recipe. Adding vegetables is optional and can include any different types of vegetables. Secondly, the chilla batter can be prepared by adding other flours to make it crisp and tasty. However, adding other flours may not make this chilla recipe a gluten-free meal. Lastly, serve these chillas with a wide range of chutney recipes. However, the best side dish for this chilla is spicy green chutney or tangy tomato chutney.
