Badam Ladoo Recipe | Badam Laddu | Badam Ke Laddu | Almond Ladoo with detailed photo and video recipe. A classical Indian sweet or dessert recipe made with powdered almonds, dry coconut and jaggery. It is an ideal laddu recipe which can be easily made within minutes and can be served as a dessert for lunch and dinner. Like any other dry fruit-based Indian sweet, even this laddu is full of flavour and known for its richness.
I am not a huge fan of almond recipes and I generally prefer cashews when it comes to the sections of the dry fruit. You may have already noticed when you compare the almond recipes vs the cashew recipe I have posted till now. Having said that I have a special place for almond ladoo or badam ladoo recipe. It is mainly because of the taste of ladoo when combined with almonds and jaggery. It is softer in shape compared to the barfi which is chewy in nature. to make it more pleasant, I even sometimes add gond which makes it more crunchy and nutty. Well, it is not a mandatory ingredient to be added but makes it more flavoured and appetizing.
Anyway, before wrapping up, I would like to add some tips, suggestions and variations for a perfect badam ladoo recipe. Firstly, in this recipe post, I have almonds and dry coconut but this can be extended with other dry fruit powder too. Particularly, the combination of almonds and cashews is just mouth-watering. Secondly, you can also make this recipe using sugar as an alternative to jaggery. In addition, you can also use palm sugar for better taste and flavour. Lastly, these laddo’s generally had a long shelf life but lost their moistness and taste as it ages. Hence it is recommended to make it in small batches and consume it immediately.
