Badam Ladoo Recipe | Badam Laddu | Badam Ke Laddu | Almond Ladoo with step-by-step photo and video recipe. Ladoo recipes are very common and popular sweets made across India. People usually prepare these sweets for specific occasions or festivals. But badam ladoo is a versatile laddu you can make anytime.

I am not a huge fan of almond recipes, and I generally prefer cashews when it comes to the sections of the dry fruit. You may have already noticed that when you compare the almond recipes with the cashew recipe I have posted so far. Having said that, I have a special place for the almond ladoo or badam ladoo recipe. The main reason is the unique taste of ladoo when combined with almonds and jaggery. It is softer in shape compared to the barfi, which is chewy in nature. To make it more pleasant, I sometimes add gond, which makes it more crunchy and nutty. Well, it is not a mandatory ingredient to be added, but it makes it more flavoured and appetising.

Anyway, before wrapping up, I would like to add some tips, suggestions and variations for a perfect badam ladoo recipe. Firstly, in this recipe post, I have almonds and dry coconut, but this can be extended with other dry fruit powder too. Particularly, the combination of almonds and cashews is just mouth-watering. Secondly, you can also make this recipe using sugar as an alternative to jaggery. In addition, you can also use palm sugar for better taste and flavour. Lastly, these laddos generally had a long shelf life but lost their moisture and taste as they aged. Hence, it is recommended to make it in small batches and consume it immediately.
