bread cake recipe | instant bread ka cake | no bake black forest cake with detailed photo and video recipe. an instant no bake cake recipe made with left over sandwich bread slices. it is rich, moist and creamy, yet it takes hardly minutes to prepare this yummy mouth watering cake recipe. the texture and flavour is very similar to the black forest cake but much easier and simpler compared to any traditional cake.
i have posted quite a few no bake recipes till now. but this recipe of moist cake using left over bread slices is one of the simple and easy no bake cake recipe. basically in most of the no bake cake recipe, it is generally made with cream cheese and biscuit powder which is eventually left to set in refrigerator. hence there is use of oven to bake, but still it would not reduce the cooking time. you need minimum of 3-4 hours to set. in other words, it is not an instant recipe and you would require a lot of preparation. whereas in this bread cake recipe, there isn’t any preparation time and also delivers one of the moist no bake recipe. in addition, i have decorated the cake similar to black forest cake, but can be frosted as per choice.
furthermore, i would like to highlight some tips, suggestions and variations to the bread cake recipe. firstly, i would like to recommend to use white sandwich bread slices for this cake recipe. avoid using wheat bread or multigrain bread slices as it may not turn soft and moist. secondly, i have used cherry syrup to brush each bread slices before racking them individually. alternatively, you can use sugar syrup, roohafza or rose water for the same purpose. lastly, the frosting is completely open ended and you can choose as per your preference. i personally like the black forest frosting with cherry, but not mandatory to follow the same. refer my cake recipes collection

Ingredients
for frosting:
- 2 cup whipping cream, 35% milk fat
- ¼ cup icing sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
for cherry syrup:
- 10 cherry, chopped
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ½ cup water
other ingredients:
- 5 slices bread, white or brown
- ½ cup dark chocolate, grated
- 10 cherry
Instructions
- firstly, trim off the sides of 5 slices of bread.
- place a slice of bread over turning table.
- brush with a tsp of cherry syrup.
- now spread a tbsp of frosting over it.
- place another bread slice and repeat cherry syrup and frosting alternatively for 5 slices of bread.
- over the last bread slice cover with frosting uniformly on sides.
- stick the dark chocolate shavings over sides of cake.
- squeeze out piping pagand create design over cake.
- top with cherry making the cake look beautiful.
- also, around the sides of cake, decorate with frosting.
- finally, refrigerate for 30 minutes and enjoy bread cake recipe.
how to make bread cake with step by step photo:
whipped cream frosting preparation:
- firstly, prepare the frosting by taking 2 cup whipping cream. use 35% milk fat cream for great results.
- beat for 1 minute or until the cream thickens.
- now add ¼ cup icing sugar and 1 tsp vanilla extract. alternatively, use powdered sugar.
- continue to beat for 5 minutes, or until stiff peaks appear.
- vanilla cream frosting is ready. keep refrigerated till you use.
cherry syrup preparation:
- firstly, take 10 cherry, 1 tbsp sugar and ½ cup water.
- boil for 2-3 minutes or until cherry softens.
- transfer the cherry syrup into bowl and keep aside.
bread cake layering:
- firstly, trim off the sides of 5 slices of bread.
- place a slice of bread over turning table. brush with a tsp of cherry syrup.
- now spread a tbsp of frosting over it.
- place another bread slice and repeat cherry syrup and frosting alternatively for 5 slices of bread.
- over the last bread slice cover with frosting uniformly on sides.
- grate the dark chocolate using a peeler.
- stick the dark chocolate shavings over sides of cake like done in black forest cake recipe.
- also sprinkle on top and tap gently making sure it sticks uniformly.
- stuff the star nozzle piping bag with whipped cream. squeeze out and create design over cake.
- top with cherry making the cake look beautiful.
- also, around the sides of cake, decorate with frosting.
- finally, refrigerate for 30 minutes and enjoy bread cake recipe.
