moong dal toast recipe | moong toast | how to make dal toast recipe with step by step photo and video recipe. toast or sandwich recipes are one of the must and important recipes for most of the working couple. but at the same time, we all desire for something unique, healthy and tasty with bread which is quick and easy to make. continuing the same tradition, i am presenting a healthy bread-based breakfast snack recipe known as moong dal toast recipe known for its crisp and spicy taste.

this recipe of dal toast is a combination of my previous besan toast and moong let recipe. in other words, i have replaced the besan or chickpea batter with all moong dal batter. however, i have slightly modified the moonglet batter by adding finely chopped veggies like capsicum, onion and tomatoes. this would help it to make it more tasty and interesting as you may find it monotonous with just the moong dal paste. as matter of fact, you can also experiment with other options of lentils to make it more interesting. perhaps, you can combine like moong, toor, channa dal to make a smooth paste. if you are planning to use other lentils, you may need more soaking time and also more grinding power. perhaps, soaking it overnight can be an ideal solution for it.

furthermore, some more additional tips, suggestions and variants to the perfect moong dal toast recipe. firstly, the bread selection can be critical for this recipe. i would normally use white sandwich bread slices for any toast recipe. i would heavily recommend the same for this recipe and avoid bread variants like brown, wheat and multigrain bread. secondly, you can add any variants of vegetables to the added list of onions, carrots and capsicum. you can add finely chopped, beetroot, beans, mushroom and even corn kernels to make it more colourful. making it colourful makes it an ideal snack for kids. lastly, you may even experiment this recipe by adding a cheese slice in between 2 bread slices. on top of it, you may also add or spread green chutney to spice it up.
