This article might be an unusual one, given the fact that I have always been posting about food and recipes in my blog. However, I always wanted to touch base, and post an article on health supplements and its usage. While there is no doubt about the fact that nothing can replace a healthy and nutritious meal or a peaceful 7-8 hours’ sleep or even a balanced and frequent workout. Yet the additional dietary supplements on top of our diet, are inevitable. There are significant advantages of including additional supplements in our diet. Trust me, this is the first-hand experience and I feel comfortable sharing my journey with it. This blog post is dedicated to it and I would like to highlight those.
Initially, when I landed in Australia, I wasn’t aware of these multivitamin supplements and were a newer part of a daily diet. However, gradually I started getting muscle pain, fatigue, and started feeling low energy levels. Moreover, my daily stressful video blogging wasn’t helping either. I was totally clueless as it was increasing day by day. Upon consultation with the doctor and, a blood check-up gave me a good picture of my vitamin-d and iron deficiency. Perhaps, due to my work stress, I was having irregular meals which eventually lead to more deficiency of multivitamins in my blood. Hence, without many options, I had to start multivitamin dietary supplements. Today, my body has adapted to these supplements and requires a small amount of daily dosage.
Before I wrap up, I would like to highlight the symptoms and problems with the deficiency of these multivitamin dietary supplements. Again I would like to reiterate, supplements are for additional help and not a replacement for a healthy diet and regular exercise. Firstly, with the vitamin-d deficiency you may feel, muscular weakness or muscle pain, low energy levels, fatigue, and in the worst case scenario it can lead to heart-related disease. In addition, vitamin-d deficiency may also lead to weak bones and week teeth. Secondly, the deficiency of folic acid or vitamin-B9 may lead to pale skin and shortness of breath. Basically the folic acid helps to develop new cells and maintain the old ones. Hence it is mandatory to maintain a good level of vitamin B in our body. Lastly, the other important supplement is the iron content in our diet. With the deficiency of iron, one can have fatigue, headache, dizziness, and shortness of breath. In addition, one can also have weakness and unusual cravings.
Finally, I would like to conclude by emphasizing the importance of these multivitamin supplements in our diet. Again it is always better to prevent than cure. Hence try to have healthy and a balanced diet in your day to day meals. Sometimes, it may be too much to ask. In such a scenario, these Livogen Adult Tonic may introduce a good balance in your daily diet. Having said that, start taking these supplements only if it is required. Consult your doctor and see if there is any deficiency in your blood. With these inputs, I would conclude my long rant.
