6 Types of Pani for Pani Puri Recipe | Meetha Pani, Jeera Pani, Lahsun Pani, Imli ka Pani with step by step photo and video recipe. Pani puri recipe has become the queen of indian street food recipes. traditionally, it was served with just the basic combination of theeka pani with an optional meetha pani, but it has evolved to a range of flavours. in this post, i have tried to capture 6 main and popular types of pani flavour, but the options are countless and can be experimented with as per choice.
to begin with, i am a huge fan of chaat recipes and it’s one thing i miss a lot about it here in Australia. we do get a lot of indian street food here, but it misses the authenticity about it. moreover, the amount of experiments happening back in india is no match. it takes a couple of years to travel all the way here and we may be missing it for a few initial years. similarly, the pani puri has evolved and there are so many flavours to the pani. i was so surprised during this year’s visit and the types of flavours are offered for the pani puri recipe. in this post, i have captured 6 easy and popular types, but trust me the variations are countless.
furthermore, some more additional tips, suggestions and variants to the Pani for Pani Puri Recipe. firstly, in these 6 types, you may prepare them individually but do not mix them with each other. each pani has its own distinct flavour and taste, so mixing it with each other can overpower each other flavours. secondly, these pani’s are best served at room temperature, but you may serve them chilled too. you may also add ice cubes after preparing it with normal water for a refreshing effect. lastly, these pani’s have a long shelf life and you can prepare these in advance and freeze them into cubes. whenever you need it you may deep freeze it and serve it with puffed puri’s.
finally, i request you to check my other chaat recipes collection with this post of Pani for Pani Puri Recipe. it mainly includes my other related recipes like Aloo Matar Chaat Recipe, palak chaat, poha chaat 2 ways, aloo chaat, dahi idli, ragda patties, matar chole, butter sweet corn – 3 ways, pani puri, aloo tuk. further to these i would also like to add some more related recipe categories like,
