biscuit cake recipe | no bake biscuit cake | chocolate biscuit cake with detailed photo and video recipe. an easy and tasty chocolate flavoured no bake recipe prepared with parle-g biscuits as its base. the recipe is extremely simple and can a perfect cake recipe for christmas cake. the biscuit cake can be prepared with choice of biscuits like marie biscuits, oreo biscuits or any digestive biscuits or glucose biscuits.
no bake cake recipes are always easier and less hassle recipes compared to the traditional baked cake recipe. for any biscuit cake recipe, the first step is to break or crush the biscuits into small pieces. it can be either done with the combination of zip lock bag and rolling pin or just with help of hands. parallel to this step, melt the cream, cocoa powder, sugar and butter using double boil method. later the melted chocolate mixture is mixed with crumbled biscuit pieces and then layered in a cake mould. once shaped it must refrigerated for minimum of 30 minutes or until it sets up. the next step is to frost the chocolate and biscuit base. the frosting can be done either with chocolate or with cream cheese which is completely open ended with individual preference.
some basic tips and recommendations for a perfect creamy chocolate biscuit cake recipe. firstly, the cake base can be prepared with choice of biscuits. having said that i would not recommend to use chocolate biscuits for this recipe as it would make it too much chocolaty. secondly, i have used the double boil method to melt the cooking chocolates which is recommended if you do not have microwave. if you do have access to microwave, than you can easily melt it by mixing in regular interval of 60 secs. lastly, the frosting is completely open ended and can be done with either cream cheese, chocolate frosting, and cream frosting. check my oreo cheese cake and black forest cake for cream cheese and cream frosting respectively.

Ingredients
- 458 grams parle-g
- 2/3 rd cup thickened cream
- ½ cup sugar
- 1 tbsp butter
- ½ cup cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 5 almonds, chopped
- 5 walnuts, chopped
for chocolate sauce:
- 150 grams dark chocolate
- ½ cup thickened cream
- white chocolate for decoration
Instructions
- firstly, break into small pieces 458 grams parle-g or any digestive biscuits / tea biscuits.
- in double boiling method, melt 2/3rd cup thickened cream, ½ cup sugar, 1 tbsp butter and whisk till butter melts completely.
- additionally add ½ cup cocoa powder and whisk smooth.
- keep whisking till the mixture turns smooth and silky.
- pour the prepared chocolate mixture over biscuit pieces.
- add in 1 tsp vanilla extract, 5 almonds and 5 walnuts.
- mix well combining everything.
- transfer the mixture into 8 inch springform cake pan.
- level up and press tight with the help of a spoon making sure the base is tight.
- keep in refrigerator for 30 minutes, allowing to set.
- meanwhile prepare the chocolate sauce by melting 150 grams dark chocolate in double boiler method.
- additionally add ½ cup thickened cream and whisk smooth.
- keep whisking till the mixture turns smooth and silky.
- pour the prepared chocolate sauce into prepared biscuit cake.
- level out by tapping slightly.
- refrigerate for 4 hours or more till the chocolate sauce sets completely.
- finally, melt white chocolate and decorate the parle-g biscuit cake before serving.
how to make biscuit cake recipe with step by step photo:
- firstly, in a large mixing bowl break into small pieces 458 grams parle-g or any digestive biscuits / tea biscuits.
- now prepare double boiling method by keeping a large vessel with some water. later place a large bowl, making sure it doesn’t touch the water.
- further add in 2/3rd cup thickened cream, ½ cup sugar, 1 tbsp butter and whisk till butter melts completely.
- additionally add ½ cup cocoa powder and whisk smooth.
- keep whisking till the mixture turns smooth and silky.
- pour the prepared chocolate mixture over biscuit pieces.
- add in 1 tsp vanilla extract, 5 almonds and 5 walnuts.
- mix well combining everything.
- transfer the mixture into 8 inch springform cake pan.
- level up and press tight with the help of a spoon making sure the base is tight.
- keep in refrigerator for 30 minutes, allowing to set.

notes:
- firstly, frosting cake is optional. biscuit cake can be prepared without any frosting.
- also, add dry fruits of your choice to get a crunchy bite.
- additionally, use parle-g or any digestive biscuits / tea biscuits.
- finally, parle-g biscuit cake taste great when served cold and stays good for a week or more.
