rava cake recipe | suji cake recipe in cooker | eggless suji ka cake in a pan with step by step photo and video recipe. cake recipes have traditionally been made with plain flour or maida to get the required texture. in addition, it requires the baking oven to bake these cakes which can be tricky and may not be available for everyone. hence there have been so many modifications to this cake recipe and sooji cake is one recipe made in a saucepan without any egg.

i have always been a huge fan of rava or sooji based sweets and snacks. i have posted so many of those already in my blog and i would continue to do so in the future too. yet this recipe of rava or semolina cake is very special. it is a combination of sooji halwa and a bread recipe where the taste would be very familiar to halwa but the texture is like bread. moreover, the topping of tutti frutti makes it even more interesting. hence i even call this recipe a tutti frutti rava cake recipe or a tea time cake recipe. the sweetness proportion is mild compared to the icing based cake and hence can be easily served as a dessert snack with your choice of beverage. in addition, you can make it and easily store it for a week to be served whenever you require it.

furthermore, i would like to add some additional tips, suggestions and variants to rava cake recipe. firstly, the recipe can be made with coarse or thick rava too, but i have used fine rava for this recipe. basically, using fine helps easily ground it to powder without much effort. secondly, you may prepare without any additional topping to it as the recipe is rava cake. but i personally like something to crunch in between and hence tutti frutti, dry fruits, raisins or any fruit pieces are an ideal choice. lastly, you may follow the same steps and procedure to make a plain flour or maida based tea time cake. also, you may also use a preheated oven if you have so for about 40-45 mins at 180 degrees.

finally, i request you to check my other eggless cakes recipes collection with this post of rava cake recipe. it mainly includes my other related cakes like butter cake, oreo chocolate cake, christmas cake, mirror glaze cake, chocolate cupcake in katori, choco lava cup cake – parle-g biscuits in kadai, no bake swiss roll, moist chocolate cake in cooker, mug cake in pressure cooker, mango cake. further to these i would also like to add some recipe categories like,
