paneer ghotala recipe | Surat Veg Ghotala | Paneer cheese Ghotala with step by step photo and video recipe. paneer based recipes are always one of the popular choices for most of us. it is perhaps one of the popular choices for punjabi or north indian curries, but it is also used as an alternative to meat or egg-based recipes too. one such simple egg alternative curry recipe is paneer ghotala recipe from the western india which has a similar texture to bhurjee yet completely different.

as i was explaining, this recipe has a very similar appearance and texture to the paneer bhurjee recipe. yet there are so many differences between these 2 recipes. firstly, the masala used in this recipe is a basic spice mix combination of turmeric, red chilli powder and coriander powder. but in the bhurjee you would have pav bhaji masala on top of the spice mix mentioned. secondly, the choice of vegetables in this recipe is basic like tomatoes and onion whereas in bhurjee it is open-ended. you may add veggies like capsicum, herbs, corn and even peas. lastly, bhurjee is typically served with bread or pav whereas the ghotala curry is versatile. on top of bread and pav, it can also be served with a wide range of chapati, roti, naan and even a choice of rice.

furthermore, some more additional tips, suggestions and variants to the paneer ghotala recipe. firstly, i would like to emphasise the freshness of the paneer used for this recipe. i have used the fresh homemade paneer prepared with full cream milk which can easily crumble. hence try to use homemade or try to get fresh paneer from the store. secondly, the recipe is also served with freshly grated cheddar cheese or mozzarella cheese. i personally like this way, but if you like to cheese help yourselves. lastly, due to the fact that we are adding paneer grate, the curry consistency tends to get thicker once it is rested. hence you may need to add water before reheating it and bring it to the right consistency.

finally, i request you to check my other related paneer recipes collection with this post of paneer ghotala recipe. it mainly includes my other related recipes like paneer pepper masala, paneer makhani, paneer butter masala, lunch thali, paneer tikka masala, shahi paratha, paneer bhurji gravy – dhaba style, paneer masala dhaba style, kadai paneer, paneer tikka frankie. further to these i would also like to add some more additional recipe categorises,
