chilli garlic breadsticks recipe | chilli garlic toast sticks | garlic breadsticks with detailed photo and video recipe. a perfect and tasty evening snack recipe made with leftover bread slices with the topping of chilli & garlic seasoning. it is an ideal starter snack recipe which can be served just before your pizza or burger meal. traditionally these sticks are made with specific bread in a high heat oven, but this recipe is made in a pan on top of the gas stove.
i am a huge fan of garlic bread recipes, and it is one of the must recipes whenever i have burger or pizza meal. however, lately, i have started liking more of these sticks rather than the traditional garlic bread loaf. it is not only easy and simple to make but also lite and turns out to be more crispy in texture. these sticks can also be made in toaster or grill. but you may have to crisp it first and then apply the butter and garlic spread on top o it. hence i always prefer the tawa pan option. i cut these bread into the thin slice, apply the garlic butter and roast than in a slow flame. the flame has to be very low, otherwise, there is a high chance of getting burnt. also, the other tip is to apply the garlic butter to just one side. if you apply to it to both sides, it may turn soggy and may not have the same crunchy and crisp texture.
furthermore, i would like to add some more tips, suggestions and variants to the chilli garlic breadsticks recipe. firstly, i would heavily recommend to use white or sandwich bread slices for this recipe. preferably, wide and long sized bread so that you get wide sized breadsticks. i personally do not recommend to use wheat or multigrain bread for this recipe. secondly, use non-stick tawa to fry these breadsticks. the flame has to be in low flame so that it does not get black or dark colour at the bottom. lastly, avoid resting the breadsticks and serve it immediately once it is prepared. if it is rested it may turn soggy or chewy and may not serve the same taste. you may prepare the garlic butter and cut the bread slices and be ready with all the ingredients and prepare it whenever you need it.

Ingredients
- ¼ cup butter, softened
- 6 clove garlic, grated
- 2 tbsp coriander, finely chopped
- 1 tsp mixed herbs
- 1 tsp chilli flakes
- ¼ tsp white pepper powder
- ¼ tsp salt
- 4 slice bread, white or brown
Instructions
- firstly, in a small bowl take ¼ cup butter and 6 clove garlic.
- add 2 tbsp coriander, 1 tsp mixed herbs, 1 tsp chilli flakes ¼ tsp white pepper powder and ¼ tsp salt.
- mix well making sure everything is well combined.
- now cut the sides of bread. i have cut only 2 sides of the bread.
- then cut into thick strips.
- spread the garlic butter on the bread stirps.
- toast the breadsticks on pan. you can alternatively bake in oven or grill.
- turn over and toast until the bread turns golden brown.
- finally, enjoy chilli garlic breadsticks with more chilli flakes.
