Coconut Jelly Recipe | Coconut Milk & Coconut Water Jello with step-by-step photo and video recipe. The summer season always demands for something simple and innovative dessert recipes. It is also the season of school holidays and kids generally seek something refreshing yet innovative & attractive. To satisfy those needs, a coconut jelly recipe can be a perfect choice with shades of both coconut milk and water in it.

The recipe looks fancy and premium with its texture and color. However, I would like to clear that immediately. It is one of the simple and tasty jelly recipes. Perhaps, sourcing agar agar ingredients can be tricky as it may not be available in all Indian grocery stores. But if you can get it it is just mixing coconut water and milk with it. Contrary to it, if you are comfortable using gelatin, it is the simplest jelly recipe, period. Gelatin is made with animal bones, cartilage, and skin and hence not suitable for vegetarians. Perhaps, it may not even be comfortable for meat eaters too. Nevertheless, it is certainly one of the cool and attractive desserts for kids.

Furthermore, some more related and additional tips, suggestions, and variations to coconut jelly recipes. Firstly, use tender coconut to prepare this jelly. The tender coconut would have fresh water with thin and refreshing milk. Alternatively, you can just use coconut milk with some dry fruits. Secondly, you can further extend this recipe by adding slices of tropical fruits. You may add strawberries, mango, apple slices, and orange slices. Lastly, the jelly texture depends on the quality of the agar agar. Use fresh and check expire before buying it. However, using gelatin should not be a concern altogether.
