Furthermore, some more related and additional tips, suggestions, and variants to the Dora cake recipe. Firstly, this recipe is made without eggs in an open tawa. It is much easier this way, but the traditional recipe uses eggs as a primary ingredient and baked in an oven. Adding egg yolk makes it more soft and spongy in texture. Secondly, the stuffing is open-ended and can take anything as per individual taste preferences. In addition to the regular stuffing, it can take fruits, chocolates, candies, and even coffee paste. Lastly, to make the batter, you can choose healthier options like wheat or even rice flour. Also, for sweetness, you can use honey, dates, or maple syrup.

Notes:

  • Firstly, the cake can be prepared with wheat flour as a healthy alternative to maida.
  • Also, you can use milkmaid instead of sugar to get sweetness and richness.
  • Additionally, spread the Nutella once the pancake is cooled completely. Else the chocolate spread will melt.
  • Finally, Dora Cake Recipe tastes great when pancakes are sandwiched together with a sweet filling.
