Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup water
  • 2 tbsp tea powder
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 inch ginger
  • 6 pods cardamom
  • ½ tsp pepper
  • 1 inch cinnamon
  • ½ tsp cloves
  • 2 cup milk

Instructions
 

  • firstly, in a small vessel take 1 cup water.
  • tie a cloth on top using a rubber band or thread.
  • add 2 tbsp tea powder, 1 tbsp sugar, 1 inch ginger, 6 pods cardamom, ½ tsp pepper, 1 inch cinnamon and ½ tsp cloves.
  • place the vessel in the cooker.
  • add some water on the bottom of the cooker.
  • cover and pressure cook for 1 whistle or until all the flavours are absorbed by the water.
  • after the pressure settles down, sqeeze off the decoction from the cloth.
  • a strong tea decoction is ready.
  • in a saucepan take 2 cup milk and get to a boil.
  • add prepared tea decoction and mix well.
  • get the tea to a boil.
  • finally, enjoy Dum Ki Chai Recipe with some biscuits.
