Even though these beverages are known to be refreshing and thirst quenchers, it is also a healthy alternative to store-bought. One such easy and simple traditional beverage is the mint sharbat or nimbu pudina sharbat made with mint concentrate.

I have posted quite a few sharbat recipes, especially this summer. But the mint sharbat recipe has to be one of the healthy and flavored drinks. The most obvious reason is due to the use of mint herbs in it. We all know and acknowledge the fact that mints are strongly flavored and its medicinal benefits. Hence it makes sense to use it for beverages. On top of it, I have also used fennel with mint leaves, making it a cooling and revitalizing drink. The best part of this recipe is the concentrate, as it is made once and can be stored in refrigeration. So whenever there is a requirement for this drink, just add chilled water or soda to the concentrate and the juice is ready. Do try this and let me know if you would prepare this drink for your guests.

Therefore, you may have to increase or decrease the quantity of mint leaves. Secondly, I have used rock sugar for the sweetness as an alternative to sugar or jaggery. However, if you do not have rock sugar, you may use jaggery as the second-best alternative. Lastly, the sabja seeds added to the final drink make it more attractive and healthy.
