Shikanjvi Masala Powder Lemon & Soda Flavor

shikanji recipe 4 ways | shikanjvi masala powder | nimbu shikanji, shikanji soda with step by step photo and video recipe. The summer season in India is synonymous with myriad options of traditional beverage recipes. typically these recipes are prepared with just a choice of fruits or a combination of these fruits but they can also be prepared with a hint of spice in it. one such age-old Indian spice mix recipe is shikanji recipe known for its perfect blend of spices infused with a choice of fruit.

well, to be honest, I am not a huge fan of fruit juices or fruit squash drinks. I generally like it as fruit rather than spending time extracting the juice and consuming it. the main reason is there is no added advantage except for the fact that there may be added sugar to it which is typically added to kill the sourness. however, I do not consider this shikanji drink as just a fruit juice. there is much more character and flavour in this drink. with this spice mix, it carries the spicy hotness from the pepper, a bit of flavour and bitterness from jeera, and the aroma of fennel seeds to make it a complete package. in addition, when this spice mix is mixed with a ripe and sweet tropical fruit, it feels like a magical experience. you may prepare this mix and store it in an airtight container and use it whenever you may require it.

Shikanji Recipe 4 ways furthermore, some more additional tips, suggestions and variants to the shikanji masala recipe in 4 ways. firstly, this post describes 4 ways to prepare a shikanji drink by mixing it with 4 basic and easily available tropical fruits. but that is not a final list, you may add this spice mix to your desired choice to make your drink. secondly, I make this mix in bulk and use it for various other purposes. apart from the drink, you may also use it for yoghurt based raita, sprinkle of fruit cuts and even on any sharbat drink. lastly, I have tried to make this spice at a medium spice level. however, if you wish to lower or increase the spice level, you may wish to increase or decrease the pepper quantity.
