i have always been huge fan of street food recipes and especially the fusion recipes. i have already posted couple of them including spring dosa, stuffed idli, rava masala dosa, idli manchurian, idli pakoda and maggi noodles cutlet recipe. pav bhaji dosa recipe is on the similar lines bringing together the popular south indian staple food with the world famous mumbai street food. i personally prepare this frequently for my evening snack or for my dinner with the left over dosa batter. further, in this recipe i have cooked the bhaji on top of the steaming dosa. however the pav bhaji masala dosa recipe can also be prepared with the left over pav bhaji by simply applying on top cooked dosa.
furthermore, some important tips and recommendations for a crispy and spicy pav bhaji dosa recipe. firstly, i have used the plain dosa or masala dosa batter to prepare the dosa. i would not recommend the set dosa or poha dosa batter for this recipe. the dosa’s has to be crisp and thin with sufficient strength to hold the bhaji topping. secondly, mash the vegetables well before adding or topping it over the dosa. especially it is recommended to cook and mash the peas, cauliflower and potatoes before topping it over dosa. lastly, you can also add the grated cheddar cheese as per your taste to make it cheese pav bhaji dosa recipe.
finally i would like to highlight my other south indian dosa recipes collection and street food recipes collection with this post. it mainly includes, rava dosa, sponge dosa, oats dosa, neer dosa, sev puri, pani puri, bhel puri and dabeli recipe. in addition do visit my other recipes collection like,
