GARLIC - 2 CLOVE

firstly, in a pan heat 1 tbsp oil and saute 1 inch ginger and 2 clove garlic

ONION - HALF SLICED

add ½ onion and saute until it softens

TOMATO - 1 CHOPPED

further add 1 tomato and saute until it turns soft and mushy.

COCONUT - HALF CUP

now add ½ coconut, 3 dried red chilli, 1 tsp coriander seeds, 1 tsp poppy seeds, 1 tsp fennel and 1 tbsp putani.

TURNS AROMATIC

saute for a minute until it turns aromatic.

COOL COMPLETELY

cool completely and transfer to the blender.

BLEND - SMOOTH PASTE

blend to smooth paste adding ½ cup water. keep aside

CINNAMON - HALF INCH

now in a large kadai heat 2 tbsp oil and saute ½ inch cinnamon, 3 pod cardamom, few curry leaves.

ONION - HALF CHOPPED

add ½ onion, 1 chilli and saute until it softens slightly.

TOMATO - HALF CHOPPED

further, add ½ tomato and saute until it turns soft and mushy.

MASALA PASTE

add in prepared masala paste, ¼ tsp turmeric and ¾ tsp salt

TURNS AROMATIC

saute for 2 minutes or until masala turns aromatic.

WATER - 3 CUP

now add 3 cup water or as required adjusting the consistency.

SIMMER - 5 MINUTES

simmer and boil for 5 minutes.

CORIANDER - 2 TBSP

also, add 2 tbsp coriander and mix well.
