bread paneer pakora recipe | aloo paneer bread pakora | paneer bread bajji recipe with detailed photo and video recipe. perhaps one of the popular indian street food recipe made with sandwich bread and paneer, aloo stuffing. the plain or potato stuffing is quite popular across india, but the addition of paneer slices with green chutney to spice it up is another level. it is typically served as an evening snack with a hint of tomato sauce or samosa chutney, but can also be served as it is without any sides to it.
i am a big fan of bread-based snacks and it is something i have been mentioning in my most of the bread recipes. particularly i like the combination of crispiness and softness it has to offer due to the nature of the bread. in addition, when it is stuffed with some spicy masala and deep-fried with besan batter coating, it is just icing on the cake. further to add these, i have stuffed with paneer slice sandwiched between nicely spread aloo masala. the addition of paneer, not just elevates the taste, but also makes it filling. hence you may also consider this recipe for lite dinner, especially if you are planning to finish off some leftover bread slices. i personally use some leftover aloo bhaji, add some chat masala to it and do not prepare aloo stuffing specifically for this recipe. you may even follow this rule and enjoy your next weekend evening with some tasty and filling snack.
furthermore, i would also like to add some more additional tips, suggestions and variants to the bread paneer pakora recipe. firstly, i have used a jumbo-sized white sandwich bread to prepare this. if you think preparing a jumbo-sized bread pakoda would be a big size for you, you may use smaller size too. avoid using brown or wheat bread. secondly, the besan batter has to be of medium consistency. if you have prepared mirchi bajji which is prepared with thick batter as it helps to coat the mirchi’s properly. similarly, the medium consistency batter would help to coat soft bread. lastly, avoid deep frying more than 2 pakora’s at a time in a deep frying pan. this would allow the pakora’s to cook evenly.
