Paan Shots Recipe | Refreshing Betel Leaves Drink with step-by-step photo and video recipe. Summer season is at its peak strength with hot and humid weather affecting everyone. Obliviously, the body would crave something cool and refreshing to quench the thirst. There are many store-bought options but homemade has always been special. One such unique and interesting summer drink is the paan shots recipe, which is known for its refreshing flavor.
Honestly, I have not posted many recipes using betel or paan leaves in my blog. It is not due to the fact that there are fewer recipes to explore with the paan leaves. It is mainly due to the availability of paan leaves here in my location. In other words, these leaves are elusive and occasional. Hence you may see fewer video recipes posted on my blog. Having said that, I have posted recipes like paan kulfi, which is my personal favorite. The best part of any paan recipe is the refreshing flavor it leaves in your mouth. Make no mistake, there is no exception with this recipe too. Particularly the combination of betel leaves and fennel leaves makes it revitalize and re-energize. Do try these simple shots and I am very sure you and your family would love it.
In addition, some more important and related tips, suggestions, and variations to the paan shots recipe. Firstly, the quality and the freshness of the betel leaves are critical for this recipe. Preferably, freshly plucked leaves are most recommended. However, if you are buying it from the store, ensure its freshness. Secondly, for sweetness, I have added vanilla-flavored ice cream. This introduces medium sweetness to the beverage. However, if you need to increase, you may add sugar or condensed milk. Lastly, the drink is served chilled and you may serve it with additional ice cubes. Also, you may top it with dry fruits and sabja seeds.
