Ingredients
- 1½ cup rice flour, fine
- ½ cup rava / semolina / suji, coarse
- ½ tsp salt
- 1 cup curd
- 1 cup water
- ½ tsp eno fruit salt
Instructions
- firstly, in a large bowl take 1½ cup rice flour, ½ cup rava and ½ tsp salt.
- add 1 cup curd and 1 cup water.
- mix well making sure there are no lumps. add water as required to form a smooth batter.
- cover and rest for 10 minutes.
- after 10 minutes, the batter has absorbed well.
- now add ½ tsp eno fruit salt and mix gently forming a frothy batter.
- pour the idli batter into greased idli plate and keep in steamer.
- steam for 10 minutes or until idli are cooked well.
- finally, enjoy Rice Flour Idli Recipe with spicy chutney.
