Instant Semiya Dosa Recipe | Crisp & Tasty Vermicelli Dosa For Breakfast with step-by-step photo and video recipe. Instant dosa recipes are always a popular choice for morning breakfast. It is super quick, instant, and more importantly, does not require any additional planning. However, you may get bored with the same rava or rice flour dosa and you may crave something different. One such easy and simple instant dosa recipe is the Instant Semiya Dosa Recipe known for its crispiness.

As I was explaining earlier, this recipe is an extension of the popular rava dosa recipe. In other words, to the same instant rava dosa batter, I have added semiya noodles which would yield a crisp and crunchy dosa. Well, once you hear semiya dosa, you may think I may have crushed and powdered the semiya noodles. However, on the contrary, I have used it as it is and mixed it with thin liquid dosa batter. Hence once the dosa batter is poured into dosa pan and it settles down, it would yield a crisp and crunchy dosa. In addition, you may also try the same dosa with thin semiya used in faloda or milk dessert. I have basically used vermicelli which is used for pulao or upma, as it is easily available in most kitchen pantries. Do try this and let me know if you liked it.

Instant Semiya Dosa Recipe Furthermore, some more additional and important tips, suggestions, and variations to the Instant Semiya Dosa Recipe. Firstly, I have used semiya noodles as it is, however you may finely powder and use them. Basically, it would be similar to rava or rice flour. Having said that, you may have to reduce the quantity of rava to half in the scenario. Secondly, to have crisp and crunchy dosa, I would heavily recommend using a nonstick dosa pan which would yield crisp dosa. Avoid using a cast iron dosa pan as it may stick to it and may not separate. Lastly, for a crisp dosa, you need to roast it on a low to medium flame. Also, be generous with the oil topping on top of dosa.
