custard recipe | fruit custard recipe | fruit salad with custard recipe with detailed photo and video recipe. a simple milk based fruit sweet beverage which is typically consumed as dessert. typically custard is prepared with egg yolk and cream, but in this recipe we talk about eggless readymade custard powder which is prepared from corn flour.
i personally do not like the custard recipe, and neither my husband likes it. but i prepare fruit custard recipe just because it is prepared with combination of multiple fruits. moreover, i was getting several requests for custard recipe and i thought of sharing it for my readers. also this recipe is open ended with respect to addition of fruits. you can add any locally available fruits including strawberry, pear, orange, plum and even dry fruits.
while the preparation is extremely simple, some consideration and variation for this exotic recipe. firstly, i would recommend to use fresh full cream cows milk for this recipe. full cream milk would add more richness and flavour to this recipe. secondly, add the chopped fruits only after the custard milk is completely cooled down. if the fruits are added while the milk is still hot, it will not thicken. lastly, extended this recipe by adding cherries, tutti fruiti, plum, almonds, pista and even cashews or any dry fruits to prepare dry fruits custard. also turn off the flame before adding custard to milk. else they will form lumps. if you find lumps in custard, feel free to pass it through a fine-mesh sieve into a different bowl.
finally, i would like to highlight my other dessert recipes collection with this post. specifically, chocolate mousse, mango mastani, royal falooda, chocolate mug cake, instant mango kulfi, rabri recipe, oreo milkshake and kesar shrikand recipe. in addition do visit my other recipes collection board like,
