WATER

firstly, in a large vessel take enough water

OIL - 2 TSP

add 1 tsp salt, 2 tsp oil and get to a rolling boil

MACARONI PASTA - 2 CUP

once the water boils, add 2 cup macaroni pasta. you can use any shape of your choice.

BOIL - 7 MINUTES

boil for 7 minutes, or check package instructions to know the cooking time

COOKED WELL

once the pasta turns al dente, drain off the water.

RINSE IN COLD WATER

rinse with cold water to prevent from overcooking the pasta

CORN FLOUR

transfer the boiled pasta to a large bowl. and add ¼ cup maida and ¼ cup cornflour and mix well.

PERFECTLY COATED

add more cornflour if required and coat the pasta with flour

DEEP FRY - HOT OIL

deep fry in hot oil, keeping the flame on low to medium

TURNS CRUNCHY

keep stirring in between and fry until the pasta turns golden and crispy. take at least 15 minutes to get crispy kurkure

DRAIN OFF

drain off over kitchen towel to get rid of excess oil

CUMIN POWDER

take fried pasta in a large bowl. add 1 tsp chilli powder, ½ tsp cumin powder, ½ tsp coriander powder, ½ tsp garam masala, 1 tsp kasuri methi and ¼ tsp salt

COATED WELL

mix well making sure all the spices are well coated

TANDOORI FLAVOUR

finally, enjoy tandoori flavoured kurkure pasta with evening chai

take fried pasta in a large bowl. add 1 tsp chaat masala, ¼ tsp pepper powder and ¼ tsp salt

FRIED PASTA

mix well making sure all the spices are well coated
