paneer bhurji gravy recipe – dhaba style | paneer ki bhurji gravy street style with detailed photo and video recipe. an extremely popular paneer gravy recipe made with crumbled paneer and a blend of spices. it is basically a vegetarian version of the popular egg bhurji recipe made with the same set of spices and ingredients. it is generally served as a side with bread or pav but also tastes great when served with roti or chapati for lunch and dinner.
bhurji recipes are ultra-popular, especially in urban cities. it is specifically served as street food lunch or dinner and served along with pav or bread slices. it is quick, healthy and more importantly very tasty as compared to the traditional curries or sabzi recipes. generally, the bhurji recipes are authentically made with egg but the same texture and taste can be achieved by most paneer. moreover, this recipe is a gravy version that is native to dhaba style or street style. in other words, i have added besan flour to the gravy which would help to achieve the texture and creaminess of the gravy. the dhaba style would also add sour thick curd but i have skipped in this recipe as paneer crumble would provide the same creaminess.
furthermore, i would also like to add some additional tips, suggestions, and variants to the paneer bhurji gravy recipe. firstly, the choice of paneer is critical for this recipe. it has to be moist, fresh, and easily crumbled but does not dissolve while preparing the gravy. ideally, homemade paneer is the best choice for this recipe. secondly, adding besan is not mandatory for this recipe and it may be skipped totally. adding besan may improve the consistency and creaminess but may also thicken the gravy. so if you prefer to avoid it, you may so. lastly, if you are an egg eater, you may add a combination of egg or paneer to make it tastier.
