tomato onion paratha recipe | pyaz tamatar ka paratha | tamatar pyaz ka paratha with step by step photo and video recipe. paratha or spiced flatbreads are one of the popular meal options across india. generally, the stuffed paratha is prepared with boiled or mashed vegetables and is typically served with a choice of curry. but the stuffing can also be made with day to day veggies like onion, tomato and this post of tomato onion paratha recipe is one such post.

well, you may agree to the fact that stuffing based out of aloo or gobi is easy to stuff inside the paratha. but it can be tricky and disaster to stuff tomato or any mushy stuffing inside the paratha. therefore, with the tomato and onion stuffing, i have also added chickpea flour or besan flour as additional ingredients. adding besan not only helps to bind the veggies together but also absorbs all the excess moisture from the stuffing. eventually, it also helps to shaped and stuff inside the wheat flour-based dough. in addition to the onion and tomato, i have also added a lot of chillies and garlic which makes it a lip-smacking power-packed meal combo for your lunch and dinner.

furthermore, some more additional tips, suggestions and variants to the pyaz tamatar ka paratha. firstly, i would heavily recommend using juicy and ripe tomatoes for this paratha stuffing. basically, it helps to add the sweet and sour taste to the paratha and taste good when mixed with spicy chillies. secondly, on top of the mentioned veggies, you may also add additional vegetables like boiled potatoes or cauliflower for variations. if you are planning to add aloo or gobi, you may skip besan. lastly, if you feel lethargic to stuff the onion tomato mixture, you may add it directly to the dough. this should help you to hasten the cooking process drastically.
