SMOOTH PASTE

firstly, in a mixer jar take 2 potatoes and blend to smooth paste adding ½ cup water. keep aside.

RICE FLOUR - 2 CUP

in a large bowl take 2 cup rice flour, ½ cup besan, ¾ tsp chilli powder, ¼ tsp turmeric, 1 tsp chaat masala and ½ tsp salt.

MIX WELL

mix well making sure all the spices are well combined.

ALOO PASTE

further, add aloo paste and water as required and start to knead the dough

SOFT DOUGH

knead to the smooth and soft dough without putting much pressure.

SMALL HOLE - MOULD

now to prepare snacks, take the medium-sized hole mould and fix it to  chakli maker. make sure to grease the chakli maker to avoid sticking

STUFF INSIDE

stuff the dough into the chakli maker and close tight.

HOT OIL

now press into hot oil by giving random shapes

FRY - BOTH SIDES

fry on low flame until the sev turns golden brown and crispy.

DRAIN OFF

drain off to remove excess oil.

CRUSH SLIGHTLY

crush the sev slightly.

CHILLI POWDER 

add ½ tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp chaat masala, ¼ tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar powder and pinch hing.

MIX GENTLY

mix gently, making sure all the spices are well combined.

CRUNCHY NUTS

in the oil, place a sieve and fry ¼ cup peanut, 2 tbsp almond, 2 tbsp  cashew, ½ cup dry coconut, 2 tbsp raisins and few curry leaves.

FRIED NUTS

add in fried nuts and mix well.

READY TO EAT

finally, aloo mixture recipe is ready and can be stored in an airtight container for a month.
