rava rotti recipe

RAVA - 1 CUP
firstly, in a large bowl take 1 cup rava and 2 tbsp coconut.

CHILLI - 1 CHOPPED
also add 1 tsp cumin, 1 chilli, 1 inch ginger, few curry leaves and 2 tbsp coriander.

CURD - 1 CUP
further, add 1 cup curd and ¾ tsp salt.

THICK BATTER
mix well making sure forming a thick batter.

WATER - 1/4 CUP
now add ¼ cup water and mix well.

REST - 15 MINUTES
rest for 15 minutes or until rava is soaked well.

PERFECT CONSISTENCY
prepare a smooth idli batter consistency batter.

HOT TAWA
heat the tawa on medium flame. pour a ladleful of batter on hot tawa.

SPREAD WITH FINGERS
spread with fingers. make sure to dip fingers in water to prevent from burning.

WATER HELPS
spread uniformly as thin as possible.

OIL - 1 TSP
pour a tsp of oil from sides.

COOK - 1 MINUTE
cover and cook for a minute.

FLIP OVER
flip over and cook both sides on medium flame.

READY TO EAT
finally, enjoy rava rotti with chutney.
