Marie Biscuit Pudding Recipe | Biscuit Custard Chocolate Pudding with step-by-step photo and video recipe. Custard dessert recipes have always been a favorite choice across India. The most common dessert prepared using custard is fruit custard where custard milk is mixed with finely chopped fruits and served chilled. However, custard powder can also be used for other desserts and Marie biscuit pudding is one such where custard sauce is poured on stacked Marie biscuits.
I have posted several custard recipes, but this recipe of biscuit custard chocolate pudding has to be one of the easy and tasty desserts. The reason is the way it is prepared. Basically, it hardly takes minutes to stack these and refrigerate them. I have used the edible Marie biscuit, but the choice of biscuits for this recipe is open-ended. The main reason I choose Marie biscuit is the fact that it does not easily disintegrate. When compared to the ParleG biscuit or Good Day biscuit, it is moderately hard. Having said that, if you are planning to serve it quickly then the soft biscuits are much tastier. Moreover, you can serve or stack these in shot glasses as it makes them more interesting and appealing. So do try this variation of biscuit pudding and let me know your thoughts about it.
In addition, some more related and additional tips, suggestions, and variations to Marie biscuit pudding recipe. Firstly, for best results always use fresh and crunchy biscuits for a strong base. Avoid using soggy as it may get dissolved or mixed with the cream sauce and may not form a pudding shape. Also, ensure the pudding sauce is smooth in texture without any lumps in it. Secondly, I have used chocolate custard sauce for this pudding. But this can be extended and you can use any type of creamy sauce. Moreover, you can add or top it with mixed nuts for a more crunchy taste and flavor. Lastly, choose a square shape with a depth of 4-5 cm so that you can easily stack and layer. It also helps to easily store it in the refrigerator and slice it only the required amount.
