beetroot dosa recipe | Instant Crispy Healthy Beetroot Pink Dosa with step by step photo and video recipe. Morning breakfast meal makes one of the important meals of the day. Hence, it generally requires a lot of planning and preparation to make it a complete and nutrient-rich meal. yet there are certain types of breakfast meals which can be prepared instantly. one such easy and instant breakfast dosa recipe is the beetroot dosa recipe known for its colour, crispiness and taste.
I have posted quite a few dosa recipes, yet I do get a lot of requests for something new and interesting dosa recipes. well, it cannot be more innovative than this dosa recipe. it is instant, crisp and more importantly, carries an attractive bright red or pink colour. technically, due to the use of beetroot puree, you may not get the same crisp as you may get in Rava or rice flour. yet, there should not be any less interest in this dosa. I personally prepare it when I need something new from Rava or neer dosa. it does not need any additional steps, except for blending the beets into a fine puree. later it is added to the traditional Rava and rice flour batter to make it a nutrient dosa.
furthermore, some more additional tips, suggestions and variants to the beetroot dosa recipe. firstly, this recipe may not have the same crispiness as compared Rava dosa or rice flour dosa. however, the same level of crispiness can be achieved by adding cornflour or even increasing the rice flour quantity. secondly, if you think beetroot can overpower the taste of the dosa, then you may add potatoes or carrots. adding these 2 vegetables may balance the taste and also yield a beautiful coloured dosa. lastly, these dosas are loaded with spices and herbs. thus making an ideal breakfast recipe and does not require any particular side dish or chutney recipes.
